Happy Vesak to my Buddhist Friends
Vesak is celebrated at differing times. It commemorates the birth of the Buddha, Japanese usually celebrate it earlier than others. A local Chicago Temple celebrated it this year with the display of the Jade Buddha. I took these pictures with my Nikon Cool Pix.
